Andy Chen

Senior Manager, Asset Management – Commercial

Andy Chen currently serves as a Senior Manager in the Asset Management division of President Asset Group, and is primarily responsible for the firm’s Commercial property portfolio including office, retail, and industrial assets. He is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the performance of each asset within the Commercial portfolio, including ensuring efficient operations as well as implementing various value-add strategies.

Mr. Chen brings over three decades of experience in commercial and residential real estate development and asset management. Before joining President Asset Group, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations at First Pacific Homes, he was responsible for acquisition, due diligence, entitlement, financing, and marketing for projects with a total value exceeding $120 million, while playing a critical role in the company's strategic growth and long-term planning. He also served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Metropolitan Investment & Development Corporation, where he managed large-scale projects, conducted feasibility studies, and oversaw joint ventures – in this role, he was responsible for 12 joint venture projects comprising more than 1,200 units and oversaw the company’s property management division, which included office buildings, shopping centers, and apartment projects. Mr. Chen’s early career included a role as Operations Manager at Premier Holding Inc., where he managed hotel and apartment properties, significantly improving occupancy rates and overseeing major remodeling projects. Mr. Chen holds degrees in Construction Engineering and Management from both National Taiwan Technology University and the University of Missouri-Columbia.
