Kent Wu
President & Chief Executive Officer
Kent Wu serves as President and CEO of President Asset Group and has been responsible for the company’s overall growth and strategy since 1990. Born in Tainan City, Taiwan, Mr. Wu moved to the United States in 1984 where he earned an MBA from Northrop University in 1987. In 1990, Mr. Wu co-founded Tone Yee Investments & Development in the United States, also serving as Executive Vice President. In 1993, he became President of the company and subsequently restructured its finance, investment operations, and organizational structure, resulting in the company becoming a significant player in the Southern California market including the acquisition of over 2,500 multifamily units and development of various single-family residential projects.
Mr. Wu's career began with internships at Uni-President Enterprises Corporation in Taiwan, where he previously served in the Public Works and Planning Departments. In 1983, he advanced to the role of Special Assistant to the General Manager of Chi Meng Industrial Company. After completing his MBA, he joined a management program at General Bank in the United States, acquiring extensive experience in savings, real estate loans, international business loans, and letter of credit operations, eventually serving as a Director. Previously, Mr. Wu also founded Fargo Investments & Developments in 1988, serving as Executive Vice President. Under his leadership, Fargo successfully executed various strategic investments in shopping centers and land development projects in Southern California.
